I feel on top of the world wit you baby...

so we are back at mac. my 10 days of winter break seemed unbelievably short. term 2 started and term 1 marks are out. i sometimes feel really uneasy about my marks. they aren't horrible to the point where im about to get kicked out, but i can see myself doing better if i tried harder. tried as in not sleeping at 5am everyday and end up skipping half my classes the next day; and actually do homework. im really unhappy about that. what pisses me off is that im not depressed and emo enough about my marks. i dont know if im making sense or you can just judge me as an emo pessimist. but marks are important, they determine my future and im throwing it all away like i dont give a shit. i wont lie, being an on-campus resident in university away from home is an amazing experience. but fun has its limits. i need to step up my game, its 100% effort from now on...

so on a happier note yesterday i got drunk. LOL fml it was fun though! we played big 2 and whoever was the loser had to take a shot. karen kept losing and she refused to drink so much, what a party pooper. but whatever its not cool when you force someone to drink if they really dont want to, NO PRESSURE :) SOOO we decided on new rules. everytime she lost the three of us drink instead LOL. that made sure we all got friggen drunk (not just me lolol). i also want to point out that jen is a noob a drinking. after the absolut ran out, we each opened a tall can of heineken and had a little chugging competition ;) and umm she didn't finish it, more like drank 20% of it and noobed out. damn i am ownage i finished. HAHAH im turning into such an alcoholic.. but whatever overall it was fun while it lasted :P apparently i was singing my humps and jason's gangster roommate video taped me doing it. uncool.. according to karen, i actually had the guts to go up to him and made sure he deleted it (from what i remember, i dont think he ended up deleting it -.- omg). i guess its true when you're drunk you become more gutsy. i would never do anything like that LOL karen knows me well. actually i take that back. she got me a gundam for christmas. a fucking gundam. ok like no offense, i like gundams too but a fucking gundam you got to be kidding. according to her, im like the biggest gundam fan maniac and i would totally go obsessively happy over receiving a gundam for a present. and shes like my bff too i cant believe just how much she knows me. LOL i joke, i didnt mean anything i just said. i love your gift, dont feel offended that you got a gift i dont like, cause i like whatever people give me. thats what a gift is for, showing the person your gratitude, so im thankful for that. ok so, we got back to res at around 2. passed out on karens bed and she disappeared to justin's res for god knows how long. i wake up and evas like LOOK UR ON WEBCAM! and im like "what. holy crap its GARY CHANN!! WHATSUP DUDE WHY ARE YOU ON WEBCAM. YOU'RE FROZEN. OK I SLEEP NOW BYE." hahah i think thats what happened. passed out for another hour and karen came back. i lost track of time, had no idea i wasnt wearing my glasses when walking back upstairs to my room. vision improvement? haha. passed out for the 3rd time on my bed.

today, the fire alarm rang at 8am. i felt awesome from the hungover and i was so totally hyped to go outside and freeze my fucking ass off in my pjs + slippers. so the logical thing to do was to ignore it. i turned on my laptop and started to play some games. the retarded alarm kept ringing (it has been like 15min) so i was like oh crap. maybe its a real fire!? so scared out of my life i bolted downstairs to see if karen and eva are awake. well they were outside the entire time and left me to die. LMAO just joking karen called me and told me to come outside. and indeed i did, someone told me that i was 15min late for coming out of res, so they needed to take my name down and my room number. so can you say 'what a great start to the new year!'; i got my first major warning letter!!! blahblahblah went back to res slept til 1:00 and had bio in 30mins. bio was boring. bio will continue to be boring. evolution is stupid i dont care if birds beaks changes shape over time. who gives a F***! physics was review and therefore it was boring. iclickers are gay. then after physics we played badminton!! justin didnt want to go at first cause apparently he can't play badminton. but whatever with some tiny bit of karen persuasion he came LOL. he's not THAT bad at it, described himself like he can't hit the birdie LOL. but on the other hand, jason is so pro in badminton holy crap, owned me so bad it was like 21:10 or something LOL oh and of course jen is also very pro in badminton. owned me like 10:3 and 10:4 (im being sarcastic) HAHAH after badminton we went to commons to eat. then after karen and maggie went back to their res and the rest of us went to chill in jason's room. jen played her bookwarm the fabulous adventure 2 while the 3 of us played big 2. im actually a bigass noob in big 2. i swear i lost like 12+ games in a row to justin. wtf. they're double teaming me in this game or something.. haha naw maybe i really do suck LOL. oh well no drinks tonight so thank god! its only a luck thing, so next time when theres drinks.. i will turn the tide!

well that was my first few days at mac. epic! i can't wait until friday when canny and gary comes to mac! i dont really wanna party at mac since we're going to waterloo the next day, we can always party there but whatever we'll show them how mcmaster parties. LOL can't wait til loo, can't wait til shiver! (night club next wednesday HEHEHE)

my post is a bit contradictory (but whatever this isn't english class..) i first talk about how depressing my marks are and what im going to do to improve them. then i talk about my drunk stories and anticipate future partying moments. what am i going to do.. i wont lie anymore.

Happy New Year

it's 2010, a brand new decade ever since the 2nd millennium. we went countdown last night at downtown toronto. it was amazing. nothing like spending every last minute of 2009 with buddies :D except it was jam-packed.. we literally stampeded ourselves into the crowd (THX XIN, RIGHT BEHIND YOU) to get a better view of the stage. the show was okay, loved the party music! we jumped up and down like we were in a club, but the person standing behind me had their toe stomped on like 5 times.. LOL. normally people get bored waiting for 12:00 to hit and leave, but we were there for like more than a whole hour and i didnt feel bored at all! oh man the excitement during countdown was unfathomable. we screamed our lungs out LOL when the clock hit 12:00, there were fireworks!


awesome night. minus being sandwiched, minus screaming FML 10 times (LOL MIRANDA!), minus waiting for subway, minus walking DOWN the UPWARD ESCALATOR, minus people taking videos of us doing that, minus running for the bus and minus being dead tired hahaha no seriously it was a fun night !!
