The End of first term: FRESHMEN YEAR

Well, 1/8 of our university life is gone. time goes by way too quickly, or is it just life at mac too awesome for me to notice? haha that's a given for sure. i have not felt one bit of remorse for choosing mcmaster; adapting to this vibrant community wasn't hard at all. i've met so many people with a variety of positive attitudes, morals and utmost respect. so here's a little (more personal) thanks from me to you guys.

Karen
man, i dont even know where to begin. we've been through so much, counting back from the days of highgate public school... its been a whopping decade ever since we've met. thanks for being there always. honestly, whether it'd be for advice, homework, getting me food (ok maybe not always the case) you can count on MS KAREN HOHOHO :) ! i just want you to know that someday i will return the favour, no matter how wrong your future decisions may be, you have my support. you got that? all the best with school and you know who ;)

Jennifer
i cannot possibly comprehend your existence without mcmaster. if there's mcmaster there's jen. haha same can be said with you & cheese, you crazy alcoholic! im so glad i got a chance to know you better in hongkong. considering how we never really talked in high school, i dont think i would talk to you that much in mac too! haha thanks for supplying me drinks, even though u make great profit off me (ripping me off into competing for highest marks). i hate you and your stupid gaming addiction. people who game dont deserve high marks! lol im joking. thanks for being my competition.

Justin - fagnuthole. i dont know how many times i caught you passing out when its only like 2am, but if i were to count, my iphone is my friend! lol i've never met a guy as soft as you; you ask "are you ok?" to every slightest thing that happens to people haha that's funny. but yo that's a good thing. its been only half the term and you guys have already progressed so far, you better take care of her or im gonna kick your fucking ass!
Jason - we can count on you to be jen's gwai jai lam pun yau! wherever you are, you always have your badminton racquet. im not that good of a competition to you so dude, we gotta play some more. ps,"MY" iphone, get that straight in your head! LOL.

Maggie
you are one of the nicest and caring person i have ever met in my life. i really admire your stubbornness, like geez i clearly owe you 5 bucks why would it deserve to go in the garbage more than in your pocket :( i shouldve listened to kevin that day haha but thanks for everything. the word "thanks" won't really make sense to you, if its anything it should be a "sorry." i sincerely hope you accept my apology for my stupid mistakes. oh and i owe you a snowball. in YO FACE! :)

Eva
you are one unique individual. your perfectly brutal honesty, loud voice, mixed with your occasional pig-snort laugh, can seriously crack the fuck out of me. i have no idea how to describe your level of humour, its amazing.. on the outside, you may have an appearance of a big bitch bully :) JOKE!, but deep inside i know you have a caring heart. thanks for being true. whenever i have problems with anything, i'll know where to find the person with the greatest judgments. ps. you're highly addicted to facebook/stalking.

Other important people that made my experiences at mac any better than it already is: tim, susane, nico, sandy, natalie, kevin, jeff, simon, carolyn, kelvin, sarah, anna. i will never forget the everlasting moments of: frosh week, fresh meet, (attempt to go to)paranoir, res-wide formal, bates/les prince study parties, HEDDEN FAIL PARTIES, and all the numerous meals we had together at bistro, commons, student centre, wokery, boston pizza and kelseys. there you have it. thank you all for making my highly anticipated university life a great experience. i had a hell-of-a-blast first term. happy holidays and merry christmas :D hope to see you all in 2010 !!!

Thought

She's actually really persistent, the question she asked really made me think. who am i kidding, it's set in stone now... there's no going back. i kind of understand this sort of stuff.. or where it's coming from. it's a nice feeling, but it's still shrouded in confusion. i've never tried so hard to lie in my life, but hey she believed me. i dont know why or how i did it. but i know this can't be, its wrong for so many reasons. just shows how good of a liar i am.

Good with the bad, happy & the sad

so i went home for the weekend! kind of a last minute decision too.. wanted to stay at mac but NO ONE WAS THERE.. cant study at home this sucks >:(

im kinda freaked out about finals right. first off the weight of exams in university entirely annihilates the 30% worth in high school. most of them worth around 50% give or take 10%. That is intimidating. I've never actually bombed any exams, usually they bring my mark up but now.. i can't say the same anymore. content wise, its not hard; the load is huge. worried about psych to the max.. cant believe im entering the exam with 69.4% FUCK. perfect on the exam leaves me with 81%. 80-84 means 10points out of 12. we dont follow the 4 point gpa system. i like ours better cause 90-100 = 12 points :D perfect in a course. mhmm still possible (bio? chem?) i hope :(
